Producer, Engineer and Songwriter Aidan Jude began playing music in childhood by learning drums and guitar by the age of ten before branching out to playing bass, mandolin, and piano while also studying vocal technique in his adolescence. By sixteen his study of the recording process enabled him to single-handedly write, record, and mix an entire album using equipment he put together himself in the basement of his home. The album, One Way, was released on all major streaming platforms and included the singles “Bear Mountain” and “Shallow Wave” and showcased Aidan’s advanced grasp of pop songwriting with its explosive layered keys and vocals backed by a cymbal-heavy drum technique and sing-along chorus’s. His follow up EP From What I’ve Heard is the songwriting thesis paper of a passionate student of music. Songs like “Not Worth My Time” and “The Fighter And The Sage” are an R&B inspired maze of melodic experimentation wound up in a tightly controlled bass-heavy funk and capped by a more introspective and serious lyricism that demonstrate Aidan’s ability to create the soundtrack not only to the summer of seventeen, but also the autumn of growing up that comes after. Following the release of the EP Aidan signed a publishing deal with Kobalt Cinematic and in May of 2023 he released Jude & the Stranger’s (his band moniker)’s debut album “Beggar’s Tavern”. Four of Aidan Jude’s original songs (“The Fighter and The Sage”, “As Roses Fall”, “Fall Too Short”, “Two Feet Away”) were featured in the soundtrack to the 2023 film “The Tutor” starring Noah Schnapp, Victoria Justice and Garrett Hedlund.
